MeadWestvaco (NYSE: MWV) provides packaging solutions for many of the world’s most admired brands and this year several of its fragrance customers have won prestigious awards highlighting their thoughtful innovation and brand leadership.

Leading fragrance brands such as Inter Parfums, Puig and Koto Parfums all use MWV Beauty & Personal Care’s superior pumps and have received recognition from packaging and beauty professionals worldwide.

The market-leading Melodie® pump is featured in the success of several world leading brands:

  • Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Féérie” (Inter Parfums) received the PCD Awards Jury’s Special Distinction in February, and the CPC Packaging 2009 Editor’s Choice Award.
  • Paco Rabanne “1 Million” (Puig) was awarded the Parfums Masculins honor at the CosmétiqueMag Oscars and won three awards at Le Grand Prix du Parfum, including Best Design.
  • Burberry “The Beat” (Inter Parfums), which is also equipped with the NoC® invisible dip tube, received the Fifi Fragrance of the Year award in the Men’s Nouveau Niche category in May.

L’Oréal’s Lancôme Magnifique was awarded PPC’s Gold Award, while the Excellence Award went to Johnson & Johnson’s Aveeno Positively Ageless package.
